Sometimes you are the nail, sometimes you are the hammer. Today, I felt like a little of both.
Liz and I went for a 4 hour ride here in the CAMBA trails in the Seeley area. That was when I was the hammer. Not that I was beating up on Liz or anything like that. No, in fact the ride was pretty docile friendly, but we had a great time.
I spent the whole day on an EX29'er. Not a prototype any longer, but a full fledged production bike. I love riding production bikes, they are always so much more dialed than the prototypes can be. Yes!!
Then unfortunately, the truck puked out on the way to Hayward for dinner. I limped it home, and tomorrow when it is cooled off, I can check how the fluids are. (The Nail). It is ok though as it shows you that you are alive!
So without further adieu, here are some photos from today.
Tomorrow will be driving to Hayward to drop the truck at the Dodge dealer there - then a sweet 20 miles of singletrack back to the cabin.
