You Can Call Me Joe -- A Joe V Blog
Joe V

Hi, I’m Joe V. The V is for Vadeboncoeur, but no one ever really calls me that (except my business card). That card also calls me the Global Director of Product Development, Marketing and Creative Design for Trek Bicycle. Yep, I am sometimes not really sure what all that means either. I do know that I dig bikes, oatmeal, motorcycles, burritos, the weird things I see along the way, my family and my job. I get to travel the world helping make great bikes, so it’s a pretty great gig.

Joe:

I faintly remember my mulletted self meeting the semi-mulletted you back in the early `90s. I concur with your cold-weather allergies: I don't mind paying the sunshine tax to live in NorCal if it means no more Wisco winters!

Joe - Where in AZ is this riding? I have a brother-in-law in the Phoenix area, and if Black Canyon is anywere within....200 miles....of there, I'll bring the bike on the next visit.
I feel for you guys at Trek during the winter in WI. You should consider Boulder County, CO for an office. It'll be 65 tomorrow, dry roads, dry fire roads. January 26th. And we have some good burritos and killer margs at the Rio Grande. Just a thought.... ;)
BTW - love your blog. Very entertaining.
