Trekworld blew through town last week and I've had a few days to survey the wreckage so I decided that I would share it with you. For all of you outside the biz, Trekworld is a full week-long celebration of all things us. We have our annual sales meeting, unveil new product, show some conceptual stuff for the future, and overall have a damn good time. It's all-consuming but in a good way. Who knew a week of 16 hour days could go by so fast?
From across the globe, our dealers flock to Trekworld to get up to speed with what we've been up to since last August and this year did not disappoint. The industry's hottest new product, a night to recognize the advocacy achievements of some our more active dealers, and a half sphere made of wood that only a few dared to ride were just a few of the highlights of this year's show.
Like a homeowner after a rough storm, I am now set upon the task of walking around my life and investigating the damage. Home and family neglected? Sadly. Diet ignored? Definitely. No visible scars? Thankfully. Brain cells destroyed? Possibly.
Be sure to check in next week when all of the 2010 bikes make their web-premiere and I'll put up some of our favorite pics not appearing in this year's catalog.
