As most of you know, "The Man" is back. He's back with a vengeance and a purpose. Unless Cancer joins the ranks of pro cycling, the Peloton is just playing second banana to the real opposition. Big Tex has led a Favre-ian existance since retirement. Yeah, he may be ready to settle down and mow the lawn a few times but at some point he still knows that he can bend sheet metal with his thighs. It's not like the rest of us. Most of us are Office Space Peters. What would you do with a million dollars? I'd tell you what I'd do. Nothing. But what if you're a legend?
Hey, the man rides bikes. Always has, always will. And yeah, while many of you out there definitely have your opinions regarding fixed gear culture, helmet-less riding, and other risky bicycle business there is a little part in all of us that craves the danger. That's the tip on the Mash hook up. Lance asked us for a singlespeed, something he could ride around Austin, and we came through. The Mash guys from Frisco stopped in on him to go for a ride and hang out and got some pretty cool footage.
Look, I know riding without a helmet is dangerous. I always sport a lid and strongly encourage that you do the same. Life in the Bike Lane fully supports bike helmets but hey, Lance went sans-dome up the backside of ALpe D'Huez with a hundred other trained pros trying to take him out. He can probably handle a spin around the ATX.
The video's cool. Favorite part is where Lance puts the hammer down on the Frisco kids.

Sick bro!
I'm gonna weave erratically through city traffic and bomb blindly through major intersections as soon as I get off the internet!!!
