Everybody loves Kate Hudson, right? Almost Famous is a killer flick and my fiancee has decreed that How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days must be shown at our house at least once a week. Not so sure if it's for Kate's acting prowess or the fact that Matthew McCanaughey plays the male lead but whatever. Hudson's also in You Me and Dupree and while I can't say that it was a cinematic masterpiece, it had our boy Lance Armstrong in it. We even provided the production team with bikes for the racing scenes where Owen Wilson's character has these fantasies about riding the Tour de France. They were in such need of jerseys we actually sent them Trek/Volkswagen (our mountain bike team) gear to see if they'd put it in. So, there you go. If you ever want to see the Trek/VW team ride the Tour, check out the film.
The reason I write this post is because Kate Hudson often ditches her car in favor of her Trek 6000 to get around LA which we really appreciate. Not only as a company, but also as a community of cyclists. The website, Popsugar, has the photos but this isn't the first time we've seen Kate on her ride.
While we wholeheartedly DO NOT support the Paparazzi in any way, shape, or form, we're stoked to see Kate's not afraid to take her bike to the streets. I'd love to post the photo here but i'm not down with ripping off somebody else's "art". Ah, Paparazzi, the death of photography as an art. Imagine how hard it is to ride when you've got fifty photogs all over you. Headwind doesn't seem so bad.

She's actually on a 05' Trek 6700 ... 17.5" Size. But otherwise, good post :) Keep it coming.

Hmmm...I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that an uber-popular actress would place more importance on appearance than on preserving her skull (and motor skills) in the event of an accident.
