Sometimes when I’m in need of an idea or clarification that the idea currently swimming around my melon is a good or bad one, I turn to my desk flair for answers. Bobbleheads are great because they will give you a definitive answer. Yes or no. Not like those wishy-washy stress relievers good-for-nothing paper weights that are only there to hold all of the good ideas down. Stress-relievers are like bad interns. They sit there and do nothing but at least you can take out some frustration on them. Bobbleheads on the other hand are the grand jury of desk flair. Those of the bobbely headed species know not of shoulder shrugs or “what if you ….’s”. One such confidant I employ is that of 1982 Cy Young Award Winner, Pete Vuckovich. During a recent session of confirmation-seeking I turned to Pete and realized just how much he resembles Trek Mountain Bike Brand Manager, Michael Browne. While Mikey typically rocks the smooveness only a blade razor can deliver, lately he’s been experimenting with various facial hair looks. The “neard” (neck beard) was looking a little shady and the muttons weren’t up to snuff so he decided on resurrecting the tried and true Fu Man Chu. Just for kicks I threw a cap on him and asked him to shake his head back and forth. Take my word for it: dead ringer.

I can't believe that they pay you for this.
