Hi, I’m Joe V. The V is for Vadeboncoeur, but no one ever really calls me that (except my business card). That card also calls me the Global Director of Product Development, Marketing and Creative Design for Trek Bicycle. Yep, I am sometimes not really sure what all that means either. I do know that I dig bikes, oatmeal, motorcycles, burritos, the weird things I see along the way, my family and my job. I get to travel the world helping make great bikes, so it’s a pretty great gig.

The Inagural YouTube Post

If you’re one of the 12 people who reads this blog (10 i guess if you don't count my parents) than you probably know that I rarely mention bikes. This has not escaped the ever-seeing Sauron-like eye of the Trek gentry. So we’re doing this thing Halloween-sideways-bikes-in-bike lane-blog-style and posting this crazy video from a great band called "Bat For Lashes". Warning:  If you’ve ever seen Donnie Darko than this video might trip you out a little bit.  But there's bikes in so it's sweet.  Enjoy!
